At Peoples Needs we believe that the quality of our future depends greatly on the investment we put into our generation today; especially so in the case of those growing up in financially or socially deprived environments. Whether they are orphans or come from disadvantaged backgrounds; good, sound education is the right of every child.With this concern and belief in mind, we have and continue to provide; with your kind donations- purpose built schools led by fully qualified and trained teaching staff. Our aim is to build hope of a brighter tomorrow, so that these innocent children can enjoy a life of better opportunities equipped with good education and values.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES
Upon receiving referrals, Peoples Needs carry out a thorough assessment on each prospective student. Their current situation and background is checked and verified for qualification.
Boys and girls are given equal importance and opportunities. Upon enrolment at their local built school, the children are all equipped with uniforms (provided through our Community Tailoring Project), stationery and all necessary books for their studies. As standard practice, all school lessons are taught in the children's native tongue along with English as an additional subject.
Our Teacher Sponsorship Programme provides the necessary training and salaries of teaching staff.

The children of today are the heart of any community and will greatly impact their tomorrow. In deprived societies particularly, good education does not only open doors of opportunity for the students, but the lives of their families also have a greater chance of improvement and prosperity. By giving these children the basic gift of education, it is our hope that with acquired skills, qualifications and aspirations, the next generation will have a brighter, better future.
